Scientologists' bad blood hits new boiling point

TOM CRUISE and John the big-devoted Travolta gest names to the controversial Church of Scientology seemed to have put their simmering differences aside, but sources say their colossal egos are clashing again, digging an even wider rift between them!

Most recently, according to sources, Tom Terrific, 60, has been snubbing John, 69, as he makes the rounds in Tinseltown, shamelessly schmoozing with everybody who's anybody to promote his Academy Award rations mega-hit Gun: Maverick.

"John is nowhere on Tom's list of people to see while he's in L.A. and that's being seen as a direct slap in the face to his old rival," spills an insider. "People thought they had buried the hatchet, but clearly not enough." 

While Tom's career continues to soar with success at the box office and a Best Picture nomination for the flyboy reboot, John's most recent claim to fame has been a tepidly received Super Bowl commercial.
